A Quick Word of Advice
The best part? You can swap a burnt-out tube and get right back to work without recalibrating the whole oven. You get the same heat flux you had on day one. But here is the catch. High-density infrared puts out a ton of ambient heat. If you’re running these at full blast in a shop that isn’t climate-controlled, your cooling fans have to be spotless. If your airflow is choked, it doesn’t matter how perfect the lamp is—the reflectors will warp and the tubes will overheat. Keep your fans clean, and these things will treat you right.
