
Stop Letting Your Lamp Vendor Hold You Hostage
If you run a PET blow-molding line, you know the headache. You’re often stuck with proprietary lamp specs that basically force you to buy from one specific vendor. It’s frustrating, and it’s expensive. We decided to fix that. We built our infrared radiators to be the “universal key.” They’re designed to slide right into Sidel machines and other big global brands without any fuss. No special orders, no proprietary nonsense. Just a part that works. Getting the heat right The goal is simple: get those preforms hot, and do it fast. Whether your setup runs on 230V or 400V, we’ve tuned the filament geometry so the heat stays consistent from one end of the tube to the other. No more annoying cold spots in your PET. One quick tip: since these high-voltage tubes put out a massive amount of heat, keep your cooling fans clean. If they’re clogged with dust, the ambient heat can actually fry your sockets. Keep it breezy, and the lamps will last. The guts of the lamp We use high-purity quartz glass and halogen gas. Why? Because it lets us push the temperature higher without the filament giving up on you. We also added a special exterior coating. It basically bounces the heat back toward the preform instead of letting it leak out into the room. It’s a simple way to stop wasting energy. As for the connections, we stick to the basics: R7s and Sk15 bases. You can wire them up immediately. No custom adapters, no hacking into your lamp holders, and no “creative” engineering on the fly. Real-world use Production floors are brutal. Constant heating and cooling means these parts take a beating. But since we matched the physical dimensions of the original Sidel specs, you don’t have to mess around with your oven reflectors. When a lamp burns out, you just swap it, tighten the connection, and get back to work. It’s a lot better than sitting around waiting for OEM parts that cost three times as much and take twice as long to arrive.
