Technical Deep-Dive
Here’s the secret: it all starts with power density. These lamps are rated at 2500W and run on 400V. That power gets pushed through a compact quartz envelope, concentrating all that energy into a tight heating zone. The result? The raw heat flux you need to drive temperature through thicker preform walls in a heartbeat. And that 300mm active length? It’s intentional. It lines up perfectly with the preform heating window on Husky HyPET machines. You get full, even coverage right where it matters most, without wasting energy on areas that don’t need it.
Material & Design
Inside the quartz tube, we use shortwave halogen elements. Why? Because they respond instantly and hold steady as the preform moves through. That coating on the quartz isn’t just for looks. It manages the infrared distribution, steering more energy into the preform and cutting down on radiant heat that could fry nearby parts. And the connectors matter, especially on the production floor. R7s and SK15 terminations give you a solid mechanical hold and reliable electrical contact. So you can swap lamps fast, without sweating arcing or hot spots at the connection.

On a Husky HyPET line, the clock is always ticking. Preform heating has to keep up. Our lamps deliver the deep penetration needed to soften the preform evenly, every single time. That means your stretch ratios stay stable, and you cut down on scrap caused by uneven heating. And the best part? They’re a direct drop-in fit for Husky-compatible heating stations. Installation is straightforward. Just keep one thing in mind: that 400V, 2500W output needs proper cooling. You have to keep the airflow and reflector alignment in check. If you don’t, the ambient heat will shorten the lamp’s life and throw off your heating profile.
