Introduction
We built the 3D flame electric heater for one reason: to give industrial heating the kind of speed and control you can actually feel. It’s a direct-radiation solution, which means you get heat the instant you need it. Inside that compact tube, a halogen element throws off powerful infrared energy. Think of it as a focused beam of heat—intense, right where you want it, and ready to go.
What’s really going on under the hood
Here’s the thing about getting serious heat density without dragging around heavy cables. We went with a high-wattage, high-voltage approach. Running at 400V drops the current, and that makes a real difference on the job. Cables stay thinner. Contactors don’t get hammered. And you don’t lose your nerve worrying about voltage drop over distance. We kept the tube at 300mm for a reason. Long enough to give you a usable heating zone, but short enough to slip into tight machine spaces where every inch counts.
The build that actually holds up
Inside, the halogen element sits inside a quartz envelope. Quartz was the no-brainer choice because it shrugs off rapid temperature swings and stays clear, even after repeated heating and cooling cycles. The coating isn’t there to look nice. It protects the quartz from contamination and keeps output steady, so you don’t get surprises as the lamp ages. And the R7s connector? It’s practical. It snaps in fast and holds a solid connection, so you’re not chasing intermittent heat faults when the pressure is on.
Where it shines—and what to keep in mind
This heater is your go-to when you need heat fast and you don’t have a lot of room to spare. You’ll find it right at home in plastic processing, curing stations, and heating fixtures. The 3D flame profile spreads the radiation across the target area, so you get fewer hot spots and more consistent results. But wait—high power density comes with responsibility. Give it proper cooling and the right clearances, or you’ll shorten the component life. Treat it right, and it’ll show up and deliver, shift after shift.
