Technical Deep-Dive
Here’s the setup: we’re talking 400V and 2500W of power. That gives you a serious punch of heat, packed into a small space. The tube is 300mm long, which is just enough to focus all that energy right where you need it. No energy wasted on empty space. It gets hot, and it gets hot quickly. Just so you know, that kind of power means your control gear and wiring have to be up to the job. They need to be rated for the full load.
Material & Design
Inside, we use halogen technology in a quartz tube. It keeps the filament stable, even when things are scorching. That means you get steady, reliable performance, even during those long, grinding runs. The tube coating does two jobs: it helps spread the heat evenly and stands up to the gritty, tough conditions of a shop floor. And for the base, we went with an R7s connection. It’s simple, secure, and makes mounting and replacement a breeze. When a part needs changing, you want it done fast.
Application & Benefits
Take PET blowing, for example. With a halogen heater, you get that instant response, so you don’t have to sit around waiting for the machine to warm up. The heating is consistent, every single time. You get clean, predictable control. But there’s a trade-off. That high power density means you need to make sure you have proper cooling and enough space around the heater. It’s all about giving the heat somewhere to go, so you don’t stress the components.
