We built this halogen shoe dryer heater to be the tough, dependable replacement for industrial footwear drying lines. It’s a 2500W, 400V shortwave halogen tube, 300mm long, and it packs serious heat into a small footprint. Here’s the thing about that 2500W rating on a 300mm tube: it’s exactly the power you need to blast moisture away fast, without needing to blow up the size of your machine bay. And that 400V supply? It keeps the current lower than a 230V option would, so your wiring can be lighter and you lose less heat in the lines. This isn’t a plug-in unit for home use—it’s built for the line. The tube itself is wrapped in quartz, filled with halogen gas. That combo lets the filament run hot and stay clean over time, so you don’t get that dim, blackened look. A special coating helps focus the radiant heat and keeps the tube protected from the grit and grime of the shop floor. And the R7s base? It’s a bi-pin design that snaps in solid and carries both line and neutral through the socket—no messing with extra pigtails. On the job, a shoe dryer heater has to take a beating—constant vibration, endless on/off cycles. This tube fires up instantly and holds steady, but that heat comes with a price. You need to make sure your machine has the airflow and thermal management to handle the rise in ambient heat. If you don’t, nearby parts will cook. We designed it as a straight drop-in replacement for dryers that take an R7s tube. Just wire it up, set your clearance, and you’re good to go.
